| I reminder the joy I experienced, when I was a child, reading the "good old Classic Comics". A parent didn't have to worry about the content offered as we all knew there was nothing but enjoyable reading in these books. I was so happy to learn they would be in print again. Now my grandchildren will be able to understand how I felt. |

| I had a large collection of Classics Illustrated and Classics Juniors when I was a young girl. I kept them for many years and learned to love good literature from reading them. I am now the head of the English Department at my high school. One of my students gave me an old copy of "Lorna Doone" before she graduated. It was exactly like the one that I had as a girl. She gave me back a piece of my childhood. What a wonderful gift! I started checking the internet and have begun collecting the old versions again. I have also ordered the first year's subscription to your Classics Juniors Anniversary Edition. I have received my first three comics. They really bring back memories. I hope that you will consider doing the regular Classics Illustrated stories as well. It will not be possible for me to afford to replace some of them with the actual old comics. Thank you so much for doing this! |

| I am very pleased to have found your wonderful publication; I enjoyed reading dozens of copies of both Classics Illustrated and the Junior series when I was a boy. Now I can buy them for my grandchildren. I had obtained some of the original CI issues through dealers, but I am extremely happy to be able to buy the new copies. Good luck in your venture, I know that all who have the privilege of reading these educational treasures will deeply appreciate them for years to come. My 4 ½ year old granddaughter loves having me read her my old (1950s) dingy copy of CI Jr’s Goldilocks and the Three Bears; now I can expand her exposure to these quality versions of children’s classics. I will be starting my subscription through amazon.com immediately. Thanks.

| Love the fact that a Publisher is finally bringing back these wonderful Classic Comics the way they should be.There was an attempt in the 80/90's which I personally thought was(disgrace) nowhere close to what CI was all about.PLEASE,Print all the Gilberton books(the way they were)and if possible get rights to the European Titles(JES).Actually go further with that, and feature Titles of Modern Classic Literature(If you need a list,I'll send).I wish you the best of Good Luck.Sincerely,Gregory |

| I was given 8 of the Classic Comics for my 12th birthday in 1944. I read and re-read them and finally gave them to my children -- along with just about a complete set of both the Junior and regular Classic Comics. My husband put them in historical, chronological order and we put them in binders. We read them to our 7 children; and when they could read, our children read and re-read them, learning history and an appreciation for good literature. Later they read many of the classics in the "big" book just because they were familiar with them through the Classic Comics. THANK YOU FOR REPRINTING THESE WONDERFUL "FUNNY BOOKS!!!!" Two of my daughters have been able to obtain just about complete sets of the originals, and their children are allowed to CAREFULLY read them. |

| I have purchased all your junior classics titles to date because you have done such a wonderful job,it is to bad that your classics illustrated reprints are not done with the same care. $10 for a book that is basically just a scan is just not worth it. I would love to support your project but I think you are missing an opportunity to do something special as you did with your earlier hard cover reprints. |

| I grew up on Classics Illustrated (I am 44). It was with great joy that I discovered your new editions of the old Classics Illustrated and Classics Junior comics at my local comic shop. Today, I bought Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood for my daughters (ages 4 and 6). I bought Frankenstein for my me and my wife. $9.99 is a lot for a comic...but worth it. I will continue to support you and your mission! I will also encourage ComicsInk in Los Angeles to continue to carry your products!
Thank you! You are doing noble work. |

| The Classics Illustrated WAR OF THE WORLDS was a comic book that was firmly locked into my childhood memories, and was always the definitive illustrated version of what has become my favorite science fiction story. Imagine my joy at discovering that your company has not only put out a 50th Anniversary reprinting of it (I lost the original), but in a hardcover edition to boot!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing back this classic, and I hope we'll see future reprintings of the other classic H.G. Wells' stories, as well as the Jules Verne stories! |

| I'll wait until 20,000 Leagues is available before I place my order (to include Frankenstein and War of the Worlds). Just seeing the covers again is like meeting an old and dear friend after many years apart. As a youngster in the early 60's a fearful trip to the hospital to have my tonsils removed was made tolerable when my parents rewarded me with several new issues to keep me company and occupy my young mind in that strange place. Years later my dad and brother, unaware how valued that collection was to me, added them to a large pile of trash when they cleaned out the attic while I was away at school. I just read Malcolm Jones' piece in Newsweek and rushed to my computer to track you down.
It's so odd that several times in the last few years I have remarked to others about my Classic Comics collection and how disappointed I was at having lost it. Thank you for reuniting me with cherished childhood memories. I'll share them with my own.
(Also, if I might take this opportunity to put in my plug for King Solomon's Mines and The Invisible Man as future offerings).
Many thanks,
Greg Belcher |

| I used to own many Classics Illustraed Junior and I love it very much it was my companion in a rural school in my youngerdays and that how I developed my interest in reading English. Over the years friends come to my house borrowed and never returned. I wish I could get the whole set again. It brings lovely childhood memories to share with little children. Where ever where ever I travel I'd visit antique store i to search the comic. I have not been successful yet. |

| I really enjoyed No.170 "The Aeneid" by Virgil. I am looking forward to future titles as I have read these comics since the early 50's. Also, Marvel and Pendulum Press did a good job of classics adaptations. Many of these have been incorporated into the Classics Illustrated series in Mexico. Everyone that I have met who collected and read these comics have gone on in life to become quite professional. |

| I have the great and distinct honor of knowing Bill Jones personally, and am so excited and delighted to see the Classics being brought back! They made such a dramatic impact on my life. Classics Illustrated and Classics Illustrated Junior were the vehicles that launched me into reading the actual fairy tales and novels, and instilled in me a great passion for literature and creative writing. My personal favorites are "Ivanhoe" by Sir Walter Scott and "Typee" by Herman Melville. I personally would love to see those brought back! Thank you so much for reviving these series! I hope future generations enjoy them as much as I did (and still do)! |
